Bren was part of the original Ghoul Catchers, who attempted to rid Neopia of vampire-kind by locating an old diary that contained the secret. Count Von Roo stole the book before they could reach it however, and vampires remain at large. They later tried to catch the Ghost Lupe, but ended up narrowly escaping a pack of Werelupes instead.
