Deakon went to the Haunted Woods one day, and stayed there past nightfall. Somehow, his shadow became cursed with a mind of its own, and forced Deakon to steal things from shops and other Neopets. He has yet to find a way to remove the curse, though he travels to the woods every day in search of one.
