Shurtz played as a forward in the Mystery Island squad. Her main job was to set up shots for Volgoth and Nix to take. Sometimes she managed to get a shot at the goal, and when she did, she was more than ready to take it. She retired from Yooyuball during 2012.
Bertie participated as a member of the Mystery Island Yooyuball team from 2006 to 2011. She appeared in a vision of ancient Altador, implying she is either very old or capable of some form of time travel.
