Gunnels was a defender on team Roo Island. He is one of the most feared defenders in the entire Altador Cup, but is known to be lazy and bad at passing. He is known to try and eat the gummy Yooyus the team sometimes uses for training. During 2012, he moved to the Brightvale team. While playing for Roo Island, his uniform looked like this:
Gordo participated as a member of the Roo Island Yooyuball team from 2006 to 2011, and the Brightvale Yooyuball team from 2012 to 2024.
