The Goltron was designed especially to defend the goal of Team Virtupets, and came out of testing to join the team in 2008, replacing the former goalkeeper Z-4B Goalinator. Being a robot, the Goltron is easily fooled by original thinking, though its consistency is remarkable. Although the Goltron is a robot, it considers itself to be male.
The Goltron participated as a member of the Virtupets team from 2008 to 2022.
