Cerys was taking part in an archaeological dig, and found a tablet hinting at treasure. She went looking for it, but got caught in a trap. There she found a painting telling the story of villagers who sealed a demon within the tomb after he demanded their treasure. Cerys then located a sarcophagus, but didn't open it for fear of releasing the demon. Later, another digger named Charles found her, and offered her a rope so that she could escape the trap.
It seems from the picture with the story that Cerys is a desert Cybunny. She appeared in issue #11.
