In Ancient Neopia, three types of vines inhabited the swamplands, and attacked travellers due to the evil magic coming from Two Rings Fortress. The three varieties were Vicious Vines (pictured left), Crushing Vines, and Deadly Vines:
These enemies formed the basis for the Venomous Vines in Neoquest II.
