Kami is a friend of Darren. When Darren's Doglefox plushie was destroyed, Kami and the rest of the local children pooled their Neopoints to buy Darren a real Doglefox.
The other children that pooled their Neopoints were a Grarrl, a Kau, a Techo, and a Cybunny. Kami appeared in issue #20.
