Salina read the Book of Ages in Altador, and wished she could be like Fauna. Her mother wouldn't let her have a Petpet, and the shopkeeper of the Petpet shop was mean to her (though this was part of the shopkeeper's plan). Salina studied Petpets, and passed the shopkeeper's quiz to become an assistant in the shop. Eventually, Salina got an audience with Fauna, who allowed her to enroll on the Petpet Protection League student program.
From the picture with the story, Salina appears to be a blue Gelert. She appeared in issue #24.
