Sir Rufus is a knight in Meridell Castle. Due to his size, he was unable to solve the Crokabek infestation problem. He is in charge of the castle's Turtums.

Don't sell them short! When they grow up, they can be downright huge! Back in the battle against Lord Kass, we used them as seige towers!
I can't wait to see how the court wizards are going to make our small Turtums grow that big again!

Those crazy birds are driving me mad! They've got the Turtums all riled up and going back into their shells!
You think you could go take care of those birds? Please? Try using a Turtum as a stepladder. You can't hurt 'em. Their shells are as hard as good iron. Just give 'em a good wack with your sword and climb on their shell!

Turtums aren't easy to scare but they didn't like those Crokabeks. Of course, once those Turtums are stuck in their shell, there ain't nothing that can get them out again. At least until they pop out on their own!
You ever smack one of those Turtums across its shell? You can even use a sword. You can't hurt it! Get up on its back just after you do and you'll be in for quite a surprise!!
