Said to appear before tragedy occurs, the Ghost Lion was considered a bad omen, that hunted for lost spirits and wayward young pets. Its growl could be heard long before it was seen, but by then it was already too late.
The Ghost Lion was a former site character and had his own page on the Gallery of Evil, but he was later replaced with the Ghost Lupe and removed completely from the site on May 8th of 2002. The reason for its removal was the fact that TNT didn't wish to have lions, or any non-Neopets for that matter, on the site.
