Only the most loyal, brutal, slowest and strongest of the Grundo Warriors ever achieved Commander status, such as Ghartun the Grundo Commander. A shoulder-mounted utility belt held their stored space weapons, each effective against a different foe.
The Grundo Commander was a former Gallery of Evil character (having been added on July 12th, 2001) but was later removed and replaced with Von Roo.
