The Gelert Assassin, a former royal before the death of his wife turned him to darkness, was sent by the Darkest Faerie to go after Roberta and Tor, which he did, starting with a fight at Brightvale and ending with their final confrontation at Illusen's Glade. He was previously a very warm hearted person, but the death of his family turned his heart cold.
