Goldnose has a claim on a section of the Grand Neovian Coal Mine. He once had a friendly rivalry with Madam Salt, who also has a claim on that section of the mine. However, their friendship turned sour and they began attacking rival mining carts with dynamite. He doesn't like to get involved with the actual mining, preferring the monetary side of the business.
