Monty is the CEO of the Moltara Obsidian Company, which owns the Obsidian Quarry in Moltara. He used secret investment from Malkus Vile to get the company back on its feet after going bust in Y15, and buy the quarry. In exchange, he promoted liquid obsidian as a fuel for Neopia, and intentionally surpressed alternative energy sources.
