Nyx left her home to become a delivery pilot for the Virtupets Delivery Co. She was partnered with an engineer Faellie named Juni, technically her superior, but on one delivery they fell into a wormhole that led to the Void.
Nyx has a brother who lives in Neopia Central. Her contact with the Void appears to have given her some form of magical power.
