Nyx left her home to become a delivery pilot for the Virtupets Delivery Co. She was partnered with an engineer Faellie named Juni, technically her superior, but on one delivery they fell into a wormhole that led to the Void. There, while only weeks passed for her, over twenty years passed in Neopia.
Nyx returned to Neopia after twenty years and helped solve the Grey Curse. She then returned to live in Neopia Central with Ozzy, though often leaves on adventures.
Nyx has a brother, Ozzy. The pair grew up as orphans in Neopia Central, where Nyx worked shifts at the Neolodge and delivering mail at the Post Office to support them before joining Virtupets. Her contact with the Void appears to have given her some form of magical power to create void tentacles and move through solid structures.
