Linae was a part of the Cyodrake's Gaze plot, though apparently not having a significant role on the ship. She basically just plays Kou-Jong all day, probably just helping out wherever she's needed.
Ever since the Gaze docked in Shenkuu, all she ever does is play Kou-Jong, but sometimes takes part in surfing contests in the mountains.

Hopefully his rotten luck didn't rub off on me too much...
After so many years of serving on the Cyodrake's Gaze I know her routes like the back of my paw. I can find that ship as fast as a pair of Kou-Jong tiles. But enough about what I can do, what can you do? If you think you can beat me, I accept your challenge!

After so many years of serving on the Cyodrake's Gaze... I guess you know this dialogue. Enough about what I can do, what can you do? If you think you can beat me, I accept your challenge! What, you don't want to play? Hmph! Fine, take this. I hope this will serve as a reminder to you that my challenge is still open...
