Dr. Valus was left alone with Lucy the nurse and the janitor Miles in the Meepit Oaks Sanitorium, the other staff being cursed by Krawley. Eventually, the inmates broke out of their cells, and Dr. Valus was killed, his corpse eventually ending up in the supply room.
