• 28th - Voting begins for the first annual Neopies Awards

• 3rd - "Five Score February" is announced. You can now send five game scores per day instead of three during weekends in February
• 18th - The colour Onion is announced for the Chia with the release of the Onion Chia Pop

• 1st - The third annual Daily Dare and the first annual NC Mall Daily Dare Challenge begin with a new feature - Double Dare
• 11th - The Neopets: Quizara's Curse Leapfrog Didj game is released
• 28th - The Terror Mountain Maps are revamped

April

• 1st - TNT introduces Neoplants and Neopians are so confident that it is this year's Prank, they fall like rocks for the real one - a major economic crisis in Neopia
• 1st - The Neggtacular Springtime Celebration site event begins
• 2nd - The Neopian Stock Market crashes
• 3rd - The prizes for March's Daily Dare are released
• 3rd - The Neopian Pronunciation Guide is updated
