• 11th - The fourth annual Daily Dare, the second annual NC Mall Daily Dare Challenge and the Daily Dare Staff Tournament begin

March

• 5th - The new Referral Program is launched
• 10th - The Negg Faerie's name is revealed to be Kari in her newly updated Neopedia entry
• 14th - Daily Dare ends and Jimmy James wins the Staff Tournament
• 16th - The first annual Festival of Neggs site event begins
• 23rd - The first annual Neggstravaganza Surprise NC Mall event begins
• 23rd - An Advent Calendar archive is added to the site

• 29th - Tarla's Tour of Mystery begins. Over the course of the event, Jellyneo's Twitter sends out hundreds of "Tarla Alerts" to Neopians everywhere

May

• 12th - The Giant Omelette is revamped
• 13th - The Almost Abandoned Attic is released to users with accounts 3+ years old
• 20th - The Altador Cup IV Prize Shop closes
• 21st - Altador Cup V sign-ups begin
• 26th - The second annual Altador Cup NC Challenge begins
• 27th - Altador Cup V begins

June

• 9th - A poll is announced to choose the next Defenders of Neopia villian
• 10th - The Wishing Well Avatar, destined to puzzle players for many months, is released
• 11th - The Altador Cup V Staff Tournament begins
• 25th - The first ever NC Mall exclusive game, Jubjub Power Bounce, is released
• 25th - A limit of 650 items in closets is put in place
• 26th - The colour Woodland is announced with the release of the Paint Brush

• 1st - The Altador Cup V Finals begin, with Lost Desert, Kreludor, Darigan Citadel and Roo Island battling it out for the Cup
• 2nd - The Neopets FAQ gets a major overhaul
• 6th - The Altador Cup NC Challenge ends
• 7th - Lost Desert wins the Altador Cup, and Twitterpate wins the Staff Tournament. The Prize Shop also opens
• 7th - In a break from tradition, the 1125th Caption Contest is a photograph

October

• 13th - A new attraction, the Haunted Faire opens for business in the Haunted Woods
• 21st - The Neoboards are updated to include a new form of punishment - silence! You can now be temporarily (or permanently) banned from posting on the Neoboards, sending neomails, and the like.
• 31st - Trick or Treating returns across Neopia.

November

• 11th - The first ever Kreludor Cave of the Week Spotlight is launched
• 19th - Professor Milton Clodbottle's Astounding Habitarium (commonly referred to as 'Habitarium') enters beta testing
