• 10th - The Fungus Caves are discovered on Krawk Island and a new pet, the "Krawk", is introduced to the site
• 14th - The colour Black is announced for Petpets with the release of the Black Petpet Paint Brush
• 23rd - The Neopian Book Award is launched
• 24th - The Gourmet Club opens in Neopia Central
• 25th - The colour Cloud is announced for Petpets with the release of the Cloud Petpet Paint Brush
• 28th - The colour Mutant is announced for Petpets with the release of the Mutant Petpet Paint Brush

• 1st - In a shocking crime spree, the Pant Devil steals ALL the items of certain Neopians... oh wait, April Fools!

• 3rd - Neogardens are introduced for Neohomes

November

• 4th - A poll is announced to choose the "enemies" for the new game Whack-a-Staff-Member - the more votes a staffer gets, the more points they will be worth in the game
• 6th - The Wheel of Misfortune opens in the Deserted Fairground
• 20th - Darigan Citadel (Floating Citadel) is discovered
• 22nd - Mysterious winged creatures are spotted flying towards Meridell
• 25th - Lord Darigan attacks Meridell! The war has begun!
• 26th - Pets all over Neopia join up and take sides in the Meridell vs. Darigan Citadel battles
• 26th - The colour Plushie is announced with the release of the Paint Brush
