Captain Longlegs is the commander of the Setting Sun, a pirate ship that turned up in Meridell after the crew stole some magic from a Dark Faerie. In exchange for guideance back to the ocean, Captain Longlegs allowed a young farmhand named Jimmy to join his crew.
It is assumed Captain Longlegs is a Techo due to a picture of a Techo with a Captain's hat with the story. He appeared in issue #6.
