Jaren liked to fool his friends, telling them he was in trouble and they they should come and help him. Eventually, they decided to not come and help him any more. Then, Jaren encountered the Slug Monster, but no one came to help him get away from it.

Jaren's eventual fate is unknown, and appeared in issue #8.
