This Symol is the son of Farmer Haffaklax. He is scared of Scamanders, so ran away from home when they attacked the farm. He attempted to learn some magic to overcome his fears and fight back, but he wasn't much good at that either.

Whew, I was afraid you were one of those bandits. I hear they are even worse than the Scamanders that raid the farm.
Well, I should say, my father's farm... You see, he wanted me to help him fight off the pests. But I was so scared when I saw them, I ran away!
