One of the twelve protectors of Altador, Florin bears the constellation "The Farmer." Once a lowly farmer, Florin saved the local crops from a terrible plague. This act of selflessness was seen by King Altador, and that is why Florin became a protector.
Florin appeared briefly during the Darkest Faerie video game. In it, he was posing as a Negg shopkeeper named Florindil in Illusen's Glade, before returning to Altador.
In the Darkest Faerie game, his statue had the inscription, "Master of the green; Maven of the fertile soil, Provider of fruit and flowers, help our lands grow."
