Naya is friends with Heidi and Jaren, who would often fool them into thinking he needed help. When they came to help him, they would just find out that he had tricked them. Eventually they got annoyed and told Jaren that they wouldn't come and help him anymore. It was only then that Jaren was attacked by the Slug Monster.
Naya is a Maraquan Draik, who appeared in issue #8.
