Kaia grew up in Shenkuu without knowing anything about Faeries or Faerieland. Feeling out of place, she eventually moved to Faerieland and enrolled in the Faerieland Academy. Although briefly bullied by Dark Faeries, she was taken under Queen Fyora's wing and has now adjusted. She sends letters back to her friend Reizo in Shenkuu.
Kaia has mysterious pre-cognitive abilities known as the Sight. She was abducted by the Darkest Faerie, who impersonated her in an effort to defeat Fyora, before eventually being rescued.
Finally, FAERIELAND!!
The Kaia featured in the majority of the Wraith Resurgence plot was actually the Darkest Faerie impersonating her.
