Max is part of the Puzzle Hunters Club, a group of three friends who love solving puzzles. He is described as a cheery goofball. Though he lives in Neopia Central, he works onboard the Virtupets Space Station, dealing in communications. Ironically, he prefers to talk to others face to face.
Max is deaf, and wears a hearing aid. He knows sign language, and teaches it to his friends.
