Samantha is an adventurer who has explored most of Neopia. She had never heard of the Beast that lurks behind the tree though, so she ventured to the Haunted Woods. The Brain Tree wouldn't help her find it, so she went searching herself. The Beast found her, and she was only narrowly saved from death by the Brain Tree.
