So little is known about this monster than it doesn't even have a real name. It is an evil creature, and the only reason it has not attacked the Haunted Woods is because the Brain Tree holds it back with regular fights. Often, the Brain Tree comes off worse. Only one glimpse of the Beast has ever been seen, it looks quite similar to the shadow monsters from the Tale of Woe plot, perhaps they are related.
