Except for the occasional Peophin or Jetsam, Kiko Lake's team is mostly composed out of, not surprisingly, Kikos. In the Altador Cup of 2006, there had been some issues with the players' injuries, but nevertheless this team from a tiny island continues to show their strength in the game of Yooyuball. In 2008 they mysteriously disappeared and were thus disqualified from the competition. The team were eventually located, having been trapped in a cave by a rockslide on their way to Altador.
Ahead of the first Cup, the members of the team had to take on part time jobs to fund their entry. In the run up to the 2012 Cup, they held a rummage sale to pay for new equipment and transport to Altador. After their 2015 victory, there were rumours the team had used a magic spell to increase their performance.
In 2023, Team Shenkuu's head coach transfered to Kiko Lake, and the resulting increase in their final placing caused the coach to demand extra pay which the team had to work to meet.
Team Kiko Lake participated in the Altador Cup from 2006 to 2007 and from 2009 to 2024.
